No Ice? No Problem!
Most ice fishing houses are underutilized during the warmer months of the year. At The Red Door Resort, we created ice fishing house parks with roughly 220 lots that allow you to get even more use out of your ice houses and create a unique camping experience. With numerous lots throughout three different parks that all offer electrical hookups, you can pull in with your very own set-up and settle into a home away from home a hop and a skip from the beautiful Lake Mille Lacs. You will be in close proximity to prime Minnesota fishing and get to enjoy all of the area attractions and The Red Door Resort amenities while enjoying the great north your way.
Four Seasons of Wheelhouses
Many folks purchase their wheelhouse ice fishing houses for winter use and only get to enjoy them a few months out of the year. However, at The Red Door Resort, you can get every bit of bang for your buck when you camp out in one of our parks. Wheelhouses are pretty easy to navigate and make cozy accommodations with or without ice. One of the perks many of our park members experience is that those who take advantage of our seasonal camping have access to our ice fishing roads and we’ll even plow your driveway if you would like us to throughout the winter season. A few other convenient amenity additions include access to the shower houses, free wifi, a playground for the little ones, and first dibs on leasing seasonal harbor slips. Members are also invited to attend several exciting member events like fishing competitions, corn hole, and appreciation parties complete with delicious food and refreshing beverages!
When you park your wheelhouse with us for the season, you will be sure to enjoy the privacy of your own space without missing out on any of the regular resort amenities. You can still explore the surrounding area’s ATV trails, phenomenal fishing opportunities, sit lakeside on the beach, or relax on the water for an easy-going day of boating. There’s no limit to the fun you can have. Whether you head out on adventures or simply hang out in the park, camping in Minnesota with your ice fishing house has never been easier.
